Here’s a first hand report by a recipient of an XO Laptop.

    My big complaint so far is I have not received my laptop even though I was one of the first to buy one online via PayPal on November 12 – the day they became available for sail. So far, the group One Laptop per child has not sent me the FedEx tracking number for my order despite several requests for them to do so in the last 10 days. What is frustrating is that often when I have called the 800-number, I get a message saying to call again because all lines are busy then when I am able to get through I get someone who tells me that my laptop will be delivered “soon” but that person cannot fulfill my request that I be given the FedEx tracking number for my order nor can they tell me a date when my order will be processed. I hope they can at least tell me these things soon. I am getting very impatient and will soon be contacting PayPal, my credit card company, consumer groups and the media about this concern. Is anyone else having this problem or know someone else who is?
